Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

As Pektaş Kablo (the “Company”), acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom it may be transferred, the method and legal grounds of collection, and your rights under Article 11 of KVKK.

2. Personal Data Processed

  • Identity and contact data: Name, e-mail address, phone number (provided via the contact form, e-mail or phone).
  • Request data: Subject and message content of the contact form, quotation requests.
  • Transaction security data: IP address, browser information (user agent), date and time of visit, server logs.
  • Analytics data: Website usage statistics collected through analytics cookies only if you give consent (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Customer and supplier data: Order, quotation, invoice and correspondence data within a business relationship.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Receiving and answering your contact, quotation and information requests,
  • Carrying out sales and after-sales processes for our products and services,
  • Carrying out contractual and commercial activities,
  • Ensuring information security and the security of the website, preventing misuse,
  • Fulfilling obligations under Law No. 5651 and other applicable legislation,
  • Providing information to authorized persons and public authorities,
  • Analyzing and improving website usage, subject to your explicit consent.

4. Collection Method and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected partly or fully by automated means through the contact form on our website, cookies, e-mail, phone, trade fairs and meetings, and documents sent physically or electronically.

This data is processed based on the following legal grounds under Article 5 of KVKK:

  • Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c),
  • Compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller (Art. 5/2-ç),
  • Establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e),
  • Legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (Art. 5/2-f),
  • Your explicit consent for analytics cookies (Art. 5/1).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, to legally authorized public institutions, our business partners and suppliers (hosting, e-mail, IT service providers), and our legal and financial advisors.

If you consent to analytics cookies, website usage data may be transferred to Google LLC (Google Analytics), whose servers are located abroad, under Article 9 of KVKK. If you reject analytics cookies, no such transfer takes place.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and the retention / limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation, and is deleted, destroyed or anonymized once that period expires.

7. Your Rights under Article 11 of KVKK

By applying to our Company, you have the right to:

  1. Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  2. Request information if it has been processed,
  3. Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
  4. Know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred,
  5. Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
  6. Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of KVKK,
  7. Request that operations under (e) and (f) be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
  8. Object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
  9. Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

8. How to Apply

You may submit your requests, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller:

  • With a wet-signed petition, in person or via a notary, to Velikoy Ind. Zone 22nd St. No:5 Cerkezkoy / TEKIRDAG / TURKEY,
  • Via registered e-mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or from an e-mail address previously registered with our Company, to info@pektaskablo.com.

Your application should include your name, Turkish ID number (nationality and passport number for foreigners), address for notification, e-mail / phone if available, and the subject of your request. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on their nature.
